Hosted at The Renaissance Club between July 10 and 14, a venue less than an hour from Edinburgh, it is a DP World Tour and PGA TOUR co-sanctioned event which means that the best players from all over the world participate.

Multiple top 10 players
Scotland is Golf Country, so it’s no wonder this classic tournament attracts some of the biggest names who can’t wait to get on the course for both the tournament and Wednesday Pro-Am.
Players already confirmed include: Tommy Fleetwood, Viktor Hovland, Ludvig Åberg, Justin Rose, Justin Thomas, Matt Fitzpatrick, Rory McIlroy, Tom Kim, Robert MacIntyre, Colin Morikawa, Wyndham Clark, Nicolai Højgaard and Xander Schauffele.
And if that’s not enough to whet your appetite, wait till you see what else has been planned around the course to keep the whole family entertained.
Plus with tickets from just £28 and children under 12 going free, it really does offer a fantastic value day out for everyone.
All day entertainment
As well as plenty of top-quality action on the course, there are a host of other activities going on at the Genesis Scottish Open.
Fringe by the Tee is a brand new pop-up stage in the Fan Zone village in conjunction with the Fringe by the Sea festival. It brings together two award-winning events in one shared space – with the Genesis Scottish Open and Fringe by the Sea named Outstanding Sporting Event and Outstanding Cultural Event or Festival respectively at the 2023 Scottish Thistle Awards.

Scottish radio DJ and TV presenter Edith Bowman, former professional footballer turned DJ Pat Nevin, Deacon Blues – the only Deacon Blue tribute band hailing from Scotland – and legendary local DJs Kaiser Matt and Miss Mixtape are set to entertain the crowds gathered for the pro-am and four tournament days.
There will be daily Tee Talks, lunchtime Sunday jazz sounds and reggae beats courtesy of Messenger Sound System as well as kids activities including music, magic, circus shows, dance, party games and much more.
