Scotland has a huge range of romantic hotels perfect for weddings - from intimate affairs to huge celebrations with hundreds of guests.
With the Scottish Wedding Show taking place at Glasgow’s SEC later this month (October 19-20), featuring 200 of the UK’s leading wedding suppliers, we thought we’d take a look at the best the country has to offer.
So, according to reviews on travel site www.tripadvisor.com, here are the ten that should be on your wishlist.

9. Prestonfield House Hotel
When it comes to wedding venues in Scotland's Capital, the five star Prestonfield House should top your list according to online reviews. Surrounded by lush gardens and a golf course it's the last word in luxury. DraculasBride666 said: "We had our wedding here in October and it was absolutely fantastic. Everything was so organised from start to end. Gavin and the team were fab. Our ceremony was in the Italian Room and our reception was in one half of the Rhubarb restaurant and the room just looked fabulous." | www.booking.com

10. The Balmoral Hotel
Completing our list of the 10 best hotels for weddings is another five star establishment in Edinburgh - the Balmoral Hotel. Dating back to 1902, the landmark hotel is located on the city's Princes Street and has amazing views over the Castle. It features the highly-rated Number One Restaurant, an informal brasserie, afternoon teas at the Palm Court, and over 500 types of whisky at the SCOTCH bar. There's also a sauna, Turkish steam room, and a spa. bobbimac19 said: "Can't say enough about this weekends visit to our family wedding at The Balmoral Hotel.
