Ardbeg Dolce

Ardbeg Dolce is matured in Sicilian Marsala wine casks and classic bourbon. It balances sweet flavours of apricot, marmalade and dark chocolate with notes of roasted nuts and smoky applewood.
Glenmorangie The Infinita 18 Years Old

With elegant floral notes threaded through honey, dried-fruit depths and subtle spiciness, this single malt is regarded by its creator, the renowned director of whisky creation Dr Bill Lumsden, as his most complex and beautifully balanced whisky.
Lochlea Red Wine Cask release

For this second release in its annual Red Wine Cask series, farm-to-cask Ayrshire distillery, Lochlea, has taken whisky initially matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels and finished it in carefully chosen Sangiovese wine casks from Tuscany, Italy.
The result is a rich and velvety dram, offering layers of sweetness and complexity.
On the nose, expect red berries, baked apples, and notes of honey with gentle spice. The palate delivers a creamy texture with abundant red berry and nutty flavours, leading to a finish defined by soft spice and a pleasant oakiness.
House of Hazelwood The Silent Partner

House of Hazelwood recently released four new whiskies in the Charles Gordon Collection. One of these is The Silent Partner, 47-Year-Old Blended Scotch Whisky and the first peated Blended Scotch offered by House of Hazelwood.
This blend combines sweet Lowland grain whisky with Highland malts matured in American and European oak. A whisper of peat from a Highland distillery still using traditional methods in the 1970s lends lingering depth and intrigue, with the smoke used almost as a seasoning by the blending team.
Arran 14 year old

The Isle of Arran Distillers has recently released a 14 year old whisky. The return of the Arran 14 Year Old brings a much‑loved classic back into the core range. First released in 2010 alongside other bottlings to celebrate the distillery’s 15th anniversary, it was then bottled regularly before disappearing from shelves a few years ago. It has been praised for its quality and superb balance of aromas and flavours particularly at this age which brings a touch of tropical fruitiness, greater richness and intensity.
This bottling returns with a slightly adjusted recipe and striking new design. Matured primarily in bourbon barrels, it was also held in some rare Palo Cortado sherry casks that add complexity and a subtle coastal salinity to the dram.
Bottled at 46% ABV, non‑chill filtered, it opens with rich fruit syrup, apples and mandarin on the nose, supported by cereal sweetness and a gentle saltiness. The palate is viscous and expressive, delivering salted apples, toffee and mango, before a lingering finish of soft oak, restrained sweetness and a delicate saline touch.
Old Pulteney distillery exclusive

In 2026, Old Pulteney single malt Scotch whisky marks a historic milestone: 200 years of distilling on Scotland’s northern coast.
To honour this bicentennial, the distillery has unveiled a limited-edition 200th Anniversary Distillery Exclusive whisky that pays tribute to Old Pulteney’s remote coastal home in Wick, where the elemental forces have shaped the unique character of The Maritime Malt since 1826.
This 10-year-old single malt honours two centuries of whisky, this smooth and balanced whisky has been matured in American oak ex-Bourbon casks before further refinement in both ex-Manzanilla and ex-Oloroso casks. Each cask has been influenced by the salt-laden winds that whip in hard off the North Sea, imparting the maritime depth that defines Old Pulteney.
On the nose, notes of vanilla, citrus, spiced dried fruits, polished oak and caramelised pear are lifted by a distinctive saline edge. The palate beautifully combines exquisite flavours of crème caramel, rich vanilla, lemon zest, salted chocolate and cinnamon, culminating in a balanced finish that is both sweet and salty.
Priced at £88, you can buy a bottle at the distillery in Wick.

Showcasing The Glasgow Distillery’s rich and smoky peated house style, the whisky has been matured in a rare Italian Recioto wine cask, imparting layers of depth and complexity.
Bottled at 52% ABV and limited to just 306 bottles, Glasgow 1770 Recioto Cask Finish delivers a bold and rewarding flavour profile, with notes of dark stewed fruits, salted caramel, juicy sultanas, and a lingering sweet smoke.

Glen Scotia’s annual festival bottlings have built a reputation for bold, intriguing flavours and the Campbeltown Malts Festival 2026 release continues this tradition.
Aged for seven years, this limited-edition, medium-peated single malt was matured in first-fill bourbon barrels before being finished for six months in ruby port casks, creating a whisky that balances vibrancy, depth and an unmistakable coastal character.
The distinctive dual cask maturation has resulted in big flavours of ripe red fruit, gentle sweet peat and warming spice, carried on a rich, coastal undertone that reflects Glen Scotia’s maritime trade history. A thoughtful gift for dads who enjoy whisky and history alike.
Mystery Malt Series 6

Mystery Malt is back for Series 6, the biggest release yet from Thompson Brothers. Known as Scotland’s mystery whisky, this release is of 9,960 bottles, 38 different whiskies, one sealed capsule — and a 1-in-5 chance your bottle is 18 years or older.
Every bottle of Mystery Malt looks identical. Same label, same price, same sealed capsule. What's inside stays hidden until you break it open. That’s the excitement.
Series 6 - the most ambitious release yet from Thompson Brothers, the independent bottlers behind Dornoch Distillery - puts 9,960 bottles into 18 international markets.
Each one contains a single malt Scotch whisky from one of 38 carefully selected expressions, aged between six and 29 years. The distillery and age are revealed only when the tamper-proof capsule is broken. One bottle might contain a six-year-old Lochlea. Another might reveal a 29-year-old Ben Nevis worth several times the £65 purchase price.
Because buyers don’t know which whisky they’ve received until the bottle is opened, distilleries can take part without competing directly against their own branded releases. The result is a line-up that spans major producers and some of Scotland’s most exciting young distilleries - several of whom have never before appeared in an independent bottling, making this an exciting and very different gift.

Cù Bòcan Creation 8

Experimental single malt brand Cù Bòcan is breaking new ground in the industry, producing the first known peated Scotch to be matured in ice wine casks.
Crafted annually at Tomatin Distillery in the Scottish Highlands during the cold winter months, Cù Bòcan’s limited edition ‘Creations’ series is a celebration of exclusively peated whiskies with unique cask combinations, inspired by the lightly-peated spirit historically produced at the distillery over 100 years ago.
This latest release explores a never seen before dual cask maturation, using a combination of rare Canadian ice wine casks and high-quality Spanish Verdejo casks, a pairing which results in a unique flavour profile of fruit salad sweets, lime zest, earthy smoke and soft oak spice.
the Creation #8 spirit was filled into the wine casks just weeks after they were emptied.
The 18-year-old spirit from the ice wine casks brings notes of apricot jam, candied peach and pineapple syrup to the Creation #8 single malt, alongside its unmistakable light, oak spice, while the Verdejo casks have allowed the bold citrus, herbal and grassy characteristics of the wine to be expressed in the 16-year-old spirit derived from these casks.
Isle of Raasay Distillery Rye Cask 3.4 x Distilled

The Isle of Raasay Distillery recently launched a new single cask release, Rye Cask 3.4 x Distilled. With an outturn of just 246 bottles, it’s a whisky crafted to spotlight the distillery’s intentional approach to flavour creation - and commitment to pushing the boundaries of modern Scotch whisky.
Bottled at 59% ABV, the unpeated whisky delivers sweet toffee, layered with pear, stewed apples and gentle spice, balanced by vanilla richness from maturation in an ex-Rye cask (Quercus alba) from Woodford Reserve.
This pioneering new release reflects the independent and creatively driven thinking at the heart of Raasay’s whisky making.
