Scottish charity offering chance to win lunch with George Clooney at ‘enchanting’ destination
The Hollywood star will return to Scotland in support of Social Bite.
If you’ve ever dreamed of meeting Hollywood actor Geroge Clooney, then Scottish charity Social Bite could be about to make those dreams a reality. The star, who is a long-term supporter of Social Bite, is returning to Scotland and you could win lunch with him.
The prize, which is up for grabs for anyone who donates to Social Bite, is lunch with the star at Gleneagles, as well an overnight stay at the five star, luxury Perthshire hotel. All donations support Social Bite’s movement to end homelessness.
Social Bite and partner itison posted about the competition, writing: “George Clooney is returning to Scotland - and you could have lunch with him.
“Hollywood icon George Clooney’s visit to our Edinburgh coffee shop in 2015 was a game-changing moment for Social Bite. Hosting one of the world’s best loved actors, filmmakers and humanitarians in our Rose St coffee shop helped to shine a spotlight on our work and the wider issue of homelessness. Now, he’s coming back to Scotland and in partnership with our friends at itison, there's a chance for one lucky fan to have lunch with George Clooney.
“Head to the itison to make a donation for the unbelievable chance to have lunch with George at an exclusive, invite-only small group event at the end of April. All entries will be donated to Social Bite to support our mission of ending homelessness across the UK.”
The winner will stay in an estate room and can enjoy breakfast in The Strathearn restaurant the next morning. First class rail travel to Gleneagles is included and to enter you need to donate £10 for three entries, £15 for 5 or £25 for 10.

As well as supporting Social Bite, George Clooney will the British Business Awards being held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on April 30.
The actor was previously welcomed to the city and the Social Bite café in November 2015, helping raise awareness for the charity’s mission to end homelessness.
Social Bite is a charity and social business helping people break the cycle of homelessness through innovative housing, employment & long-term support.
From creating safe spaces to call home in Social Bite Villages to the Jobs First programme placing people into mainstream employment, they create real pathways out of homelessness, not just short-term fixes.
Through their coffee shops and community networks over 200,000 items of free food, including Christmas dinner, are provided year round, accompanied by a supportive conversation and signposting for longer term support.
Their national and global campaigns have been described as a collaborative movement to end homelessness and in addition to George Clooney, their work has been championed by the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Sir Chris Hoy and the Princess of Wales.
