From the much-loved Chompsky who have been popping up all over Glasgow to newcomers Union Waffles, there’s a huge range of food and something to suit all tastes. The idea is that the vendors will change frequently but for now, you can find pizza by Nomad, hot dogs by Surf Dogs, burgers from BRGR, bao from Chompsky – and lots more!

Pizza is the new burger in Glasgow, and Baffo is the newest opening in town.

In a prime location right across from Kelvingrove Museum, they’re serving up traditional Italian pizzas as well as bruschetta, pasta and focaccia.

If you’re feeling like a challenge (or up for sharing) they’re also doing half-metre pizzas.

It’s Indian food unlike anything Glasgow’s seen before. Based on modern street cuisine which you might find on the streets of Mumbai, Horn Please is definitely one for those who are interested in having a bit of an adventure with their food!

Their bread pakora is a definite highlight – imagine a cheese toastie dipped in pakora batter. It’s as delicious as it sounds.

This is a relaxed place to pop in for a quick bite to eat. Whether you’re after a light snack or dinner, The Pakora Bar has you covered.

It’s a casual location and there’s a huge range of pakora to sample – from haggis to aubergine, there’s also gluten free and veggie options available.

(42 St Stephen Street, Edinburgh EH3 5AL)

Edinburgh is bursting with delicious sushi spots, and Kenji is the newcomer. You’ll find your usual Japanese favourites like tempura, sushi, sashimi, noodles as well as set options if you want to sample a selection of plates.

The volcano roll and salmon sashimi come highly recommended.
