Scottish butcher to delight vegetarians with launch of meat free square sausage
Posting on their website Simon Howie wrote: "The meat free morning roll you’ve been waiting for or the perfect addition to a vegetarian cooked breakfast! All the taste of the Classic Scottish favourite but with none of the meat".
It is now available to buy in Morrisons and comes in a four slice pack.
The news follows the success of a café in Glasgow, which proved popular with vegans in 2016 after it created its very own vegan roll and square sausage.
While, Edinburgh’s Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch café claim to have invented this vegan culinary delight back in February 2013.
