All of the interior design has created  by Tom's Swedish-born wife and business partner Michaela and Stephen Paterson of Burns Design, with the interior blend of Scandinavian and Scottish design and taking inspiration  from Scotland’s rich tapestry of natural resources .

Tom and Michaela say they  have dreamt of having a pub with rooms for years,  and that they've always been particularly fond of Gullane and the East Lothian area. So that when the opportunity arose, they had to take it.
