Greggs unveil new autumn menu featuring three burritos
The new range of burritos were launched today (4th October) and are priced from £2.75, with three different styles on offer including chipotle pulled beef, fiery pulled chicken and an onion bhaji filling.
A Greggs spokesperson said: “We’re very excited to be launching burritos for the very first time.
"The popularity of Mexican cuisine has really gathered momentum in the UK recently and so we wanted to bring fans the flavoursome and fresh-tasting offering of Mexican street food to the UK.”
All three of the new fillings come complete with a rich smoky tomato rice and bean mix, sliced peppers, red onion, Monterey Jack chilli cheese, and crème fraiche dressing with sliced jalapenos – all wrapped up in a soft flour tortilla.
The high street chain's introduction of Salads and yoghurts have continued to help boost sales in the third quarter, with the bakery chain continuing to benefit from a wider range of healthy eating options.
