This Easter we plan to support local businesses while feeding our faces with these gorgeous creations.
As it’s one of our (many) guilty pleasures, we’re pleased to see that the Creme Egg features heavily, with it appearing in the centre of brownies, cookies and former MasterChef contestant and Locker Hyndland chef David Hetherington’s new invention, the brookie.

9. Creme Egg cookie
We've had the brownie and the brookie, so here's the cookie. How do you eat yours? (We get ours from Edinburgh business, Babyfaced Baker, whose wares are available at various venues, including Bread & Butter on Henderson Row and The Source Coffee on Spittal Street). www.babyfacedbaker.com Photo: Contributed

10. Ice cream cake
This is ice-cream business Luca's take on an Easter bunnet, except with ice-cream, Mini Eggs and a layer of sponge cake. Delivery available within Edinburgh. www.lucasicecreamshop.co.uk Photo: Contributed
