Whether it be enjoying a wee cheeky pint, having a wee gander at the shops or looking for a wee bite to eat it - using Scottish words like ‘wee’ is just one of many habits the Scots exhibit that can rub off on you.

The only drink that outsells Coca Cola in Scotland, Irn Bru is considered a god amongst standard drinks here and whether it's for a deep hangover or just a general refreshment its usually the drink of choice. Photo: Submitted

7. Having a bit of banter with anyone and everyone
The Scots are well-known for having a strong sense of humour, while other cultures may be seen as more 'cold' or 'stoic' that's not the case here as we can crack a joke over just about anything (or anyone!) Photo: fizkes via Canva Pro

8. Getting goosebumps when you hear bagpipe music
Scotland has a unique and fascinating heritage and there are few symbols as quintessentially Scottish as the bagpipes that are adored and celebrated nationwide for producing a stunning and cultural sound. Photo: Gim42 via Canva Pro
