Norovirus outbreak closes four wards
A HOSPITAL has closed four wards to new patients following a rise in the number with novovirus.
A total of 26 patients at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley, are showing symptoms.
Dr Teresa Inkster, consultant microbiologist at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, said: “Norovirus is particularly prevalent at this time of year.”
