The new rules will see different levels of restrictions applied to each local authority across the country.
Ms Sturgeon confirmed the restrictions introduced vary depending on the level of cases and rate of transmission in each area.
Here is a list of the NHS Health Boards across Scotland and information about the different levels each local council will be put under from Friday.
