This year’s Strictly Come Dancing is now officially underway - with the nervous celebrities taking part in the first live show on Saturday (September 26).
Strictly first aired back in 2004 and has become the world’s most successful reality television franchaise - there are version in over 60 different countries around the world.
Previously presented by Bruce ForsythTess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, there have been 23 series of the dancing competition, with former winners including the likes of Caroline Flack, Bill Bailey, Joe McFadden and Alesha Dixon.
And this year sees a big change, with a brand new presenting team in place consisting of Emma Willis, comedian Josh Widdicombe, and pro-dancer Johannes Radebe.
Saturday saw the first of the live dances, with 15 famous faces battling on the dancefloor for the Glitterball Trophy.
And there’s some Scottish interest this year, with Emmerdale actor Lawrence Robb taking part.

Lawrence Robb was born in Glasgow and was raised by parents Iain and Claire in the village of Kilmacolm, near Glasgow in Inverclyde.
Where did Lawrence Robb go to school?
Lawrence was a pupil at St Columba's School, a private day school in Kilmalcolm, and went on to study at the Dance School of Scotland in Knightswood.
Is Lawrence Robb married?
Lawrence isn’t married but he is in a relationship with fellow actor Pamela Blair. Blair has appeared in a string of hit West End shows including The Devil Wears Prada, Beauty and the Beast, Oklahoma!, Cinderella, 42nd Street, and Curtains.
What has Lawrence Robb appeared in?
Lawrence has played Mackenzie Boyd in ITV soap opera Emmerdale since 2020. The character is the brother of Moira Dingle, played by Natalie Robb.
