It’s nearly time for the next housemate to be evicted - with the public vote now live.

Big Brother 2026 launched last month (September 13) with another group of contestants allowing cameras to film them 24/7 and relay the results to millions of viewers.

First broadcast on Channel 4 in 2000, it was an instant sensation, as millions were glued to the antics of Nasty Nick, Craig Phillips and Anna Nolan.

It returned in 2023 for the first time in five years, moving to ITV from Channel 5.

This year’s series will be 54 days long, making it the longest since its switch to ITV - and with a £100,000 cash prize up for grabs.

And now two more contestants are up for the axe, meaning at the end of this week only 11 possible winners will remain.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Who has already left the Big Brother House?

There was some Scottish interest in the shape of Paisley bartender Millie Jarrett, but sadly she was the first to be evicted.

Chelsey Ammari was second to be voted out, before Charlotte Nott dramatically quit the show - leaving a dozen housemates remaining in the contest.

When will this week’s Big Brother eviction happen?

The next eviction will take place on Friday, October 3, with the episode starting at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Who is up for eviction this week?

Johanne and Rochelle are the two housemates who will be up for the public eviction vote.

Who voted for each of the housemates up for eviction?

The vote was fairly evenly split, with Frankie, Lynx, Rhianna and Rochelle voting for Johanne (four nominations), and Harry, Johanne, Lynx, Philip, Rhianna and Yasmin voting for Rochelle (six nominations).

When did the eviction vote start?

The eviction vote started at 10.15pm on Wednesday, September 30, with viewers being asked to vote for the housemate they wish to evict.

Who is Johanne?

Johanne Cade is a 44-year-old online marketer is originally from LA and now lives in Salford.

When asked about her personality before entering the house she said: "I think that personality wise, I am a person that is very open to meeting people. I love meeting new people. I love talking with people. But I think that I do a good job operating as a mirror for people and saying the things that people are afraid to say. I consider myself to be a really good judge of character and to be very direct with people. And I think that people will see that in my personality. I'm not afraid of confrontation. I go into every situation hoping for the best, but I don't shy away from confrontation."

Who is Rochelle?

Rochelle Rackham is a 57-year-old housewife from Essex, who was one of the early favourites to win the show.

When asked why she thought she might get nominated she said: I can imagine that after a few days, I'll get really angry with it being untidy. If people are untidy, if toilets aren't clean, things like that. So, I'll probably be moaning. You don't know who you're going in with. You don't know what kind of people… I'm quite bossy at home and I drive everyone mad, so I'm sure that I'll carry it on in the house."

Who is favourite to be evicted?

Johanne is odds-on to go, priced at 1/9 to be evicted, while Rochelle would appear to be safe at 5/1.
