First broadcast in 2007 and hosted by Ant & Dec, Britain’s Got Talent invites performers to impress a panel of judges with a place on the bill for the Royal Variety Performance up for grabs.
There’s also the matter of a serious cash prize - intially £100,000 before rising to £500,000 for a single year before dropping to its current level of a cool £250,000.
The judges for the current series are Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and KSI - with previous panel members including David Walliams, Michael McIntyre, Piers Morgan, David Hasselhoff and Bruno Tonioli.
We’ll soon know the latest winner, with all five semi-finals now completed and the live grand final set for this weekend, on Saturday, May 30.
So it’s the perfect back to look back on all the previous winners of the show.
Here are all 18 - starting with the first winner back in 2007.
