Netflix’s hit romance series Bridgerton is back for season four, with a number of new faces joining the cast.
Based on Julia Quinn’s best-selling novels, the first batch of new episodes arrived on Netflix this week with the show turning its focus to the second-eldest Bridgerton brother, Benedict. Played by Luke Thompson, the free-spirited artist will finally get his turn in the spotlight when he meets “Lady Silver” at a masquerade ball hosted by his mother.
Season four’s Cinderella-esque tale stars Yerin Ha as housemaid Sophie Baek, Benedict’s mysterious love interest. The Australian actress makes her ton debut alongside several new cast members including Scottish actress Katie Leung, who is best known as Cho Chang in the Harry Potter films and Caitlyn Kiramman in animated series Arcane.
Taking on the role of Lady Araminta Gun, a twice-married and twice-widowed mother of two, Leung’s character is looking to secure good marriages for her two daughters, with little care for her stepdaughter Sophie.
For fans interested in the rest of the Bridgerton family, there is no need to worry as the series will see the return of Colin and his new wife Penelope, as well as Eloise, their mother and younger siblings. This includes Francesca, who travelled to the Scottish Highlands at the end of last season for her honeymoon with new husband Lord John Stirling.
With the second half of episodes not due out until February 26, here is the full cast of Bridgerton Season 4 - from new arrivals to familiar faces.

9. Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Bridgerton
In season four of Bridgerton, Nicola Coughlan’s character Penelope has found true love with her husband (and longtime crush) Colin Bridgerton, made up with her best friend (and now sister-in-law) Eloise, has been unmasked as Lady Whistledown and, as if she weren’t busy enough, Penelope is also a new mother. While Coughlan is now widely known for her role in Bridgerton, she is also well remembered for her role as Clare in Derry Girls, with other roles in Big Mood, Barbie and Harlots. | LIAM DANIEL/NETFLIX

10. Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton
Luke Newton returns as Colin Bridgerton, beginning the new season as happily married and full of familial pride due to their newborn son. Newton has also appeared in The Lodge, The Cut, and Lake Placid: Legacy, with other roles on stage such as House of McQueen in New York. | LIAM DANIEL/NETFLIX

11. Claudia Jessie as Eloise Bridgerton
Claudia Jessie plays the free-spirited Eloise Bridgerton, who is very much keen to avoid being married. She would much rather possess the same freedoms as her brothers and while she believes she’s escaped the pressures of the ‘ton and is “on the shelf”, in season four this doesn’t quite seem to be the case. Eloise is one of the roles Jessie is now best recognised for, however she has also appeared in Line of Duty, Porters, Vanity Fair, and, most recently, Toxic Town. | LIAM DANIEL/NETFLIX

12. Ruth Gemmell as Violet Bridgerton
The mother of all eight Bridgerton children, Ruth Gemmell once again returns as Lady Violet Bridgerton in season four of the Netflix series, where her character is contemplating her own life now that four of her own brood have married. Gemmell’s other roles include Utopia, Home Fires, Waking the Dead and My Mum Tracy Beaker. | LIAM DANIEL/NETFLIX
