It was the news that Swifties around the world had been waiting for and it was announced in a single sentence on Instagram: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married".
As if imminent new album The Life of a Showgirl and recently completing her record-breaking Eras tour, which stopped off for three nights in Edinburgh last year, wasn’t enough, Taylor Swift will be marrying American footballer Travis Kelce on an as-yet-specified date (August 2026 is the most likely month apparently)
The fact that it immediately sent the internet into meltdown goes without saying, with an accompanying picture showing Kelce getting down on one knee to pop the question, and a suitably eye-popping engagement ring.
Now speculation is growing about where the wedding will be held.
Here are the 10 most likely locations according to the bookies.

5. Italy - 6/1
Taylor has Italian ancestry and has holidayed in Lake Como before, so it's no wonder that it's the most likely spot for an overseas wedding - priced at 6/1. | Canva/Getty Images

6. Ohio
Could the couple break with tradition and get married in the groom's family state? Travis Kelce comes from the Ohio city of Cleveland Heights and his family would surely be delighted to host. There's a 15/2 chance of it happening. | Canva/Getty Images

7. Calfornia - 9/1
Taylor has always loved California and has owned the historic Samuel Goldwyn Estate, in Beverly Hills, in 2015 - carrying out major renovations. What better way to show off her interior decor prowess than by hosting the wedding there. It's a 9/1 shot. | Canva/Getty Images

8. England - 10/1
Taylor has often spoken of her love of England and spent a lot of time in London while dating actor Joe Alwyn. There are certainly no lack of swanky venues, from plush city hotels to sprawling stately homes in the country. She's priced at 10/1 to head across the Atlantic for her nuptual. | Canva/Getty Images
