The Marvel Cinematic Universe is constantly expanding with many new entries to the franchise – such as Agatha All Along – now arriving on streaming platforms instead of in cinemas.
Sure Disney Plus premieres may not capture the same excitement as midnight screenings, but superhero fans now have a wealth of shows to enjoy from the comfort of their own home.
While you’d be forgiven for thinking that Marvel’s recent focus on the small screen is new, it has technically been more than a decade since the first MCU TV series came out.
With Disney now having regained ownership over the majority of their Marvel properties, most shows with even a hint of an MCU connection are now available to watch on the streaming service.
So including Agatha All Along reviews, here is every TV show (and special presentation film) which can be considered part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ranked from best to worst according to Rotten Tomatoes.

17. Jessica Jones – 83%
The second of Netflix’s interconnected Marvel television series was Jessica Jones, which was also released in 2015. Starring Krysten Ritter as the superpowered private investigator, the show ran for three seasons and also introduced audiences to Luke Cage. With 83% on Rotten Tomatoes, the show also has a darker tone than many of the Marvel films being released at the same time. | AFP via Getty Images

18. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law – 79%
Technically the eighth miniseries to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – as produced by Marvel Studios and streaming on Disney Plus – She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premiered in 2022. Following Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner (AKA the Hulk), the series follows the lawyer as she navigates accidentally becoming superhero, She-Hulk. 19. The Defenders – 78%
Bringing together the stars of all four of Netflix’s Marvel series, The Defenders sees Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist team up to fight a common enemy as heroes and vigilantes much closer to the ground than the wider MCU – though it does reference events from the films. With a rating of 78% on Rotten Tomatoes, it ran for just one season. | Getty Images

20. Echo – 70%
Having been introduced in Hawkeye, Alaqua Cox reprises her role as Maya Lopez, or Echo as she is also known. The deaf character formerly led the Tracksuit Mafia in the 2024 series sees her being pursued by Wilson Fisk’s organisation which leads her to her Oklahoma hometown where she attempts to come to terms with the past, reconnect with her Native American roots and embrace family. With 70% on Rotten Tomatoes, Echo is expected to lead directly into Disney Plus series Daredevil: Born Again with Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio both appearing. | Chuck Zlotnick / Marvel Studios
