Fans are going to have to wait a little longer to see some of their favourites back in the villa.

The third season of Love Island: All Stars is set to return this month, with a scheduled debut on ITV2 and ITVX tonight, Monday, January 12.

But the broadcaster has been forced to change its plans due to wildfires burning near the South African filming location.

Hosted by Maya Jama and back in scorching South Africa, group chats will go wild as iconic Islanders from across the last 10 years make an epic return to find love.

Scottish comedian Iain Stirling will once again be voicing as Islanders get their graft on in the UK's biggest dating show.

And there’s set to be more to enjoy than ever - with the show lasting six weeks rather than its usual five.

And, as well as the prospect of finding true love, there’s also the small matter of the £50,000 prize for the last couple standing.

A total of a dozen fan favourites from previous series have been announced so far - but expect new arrivals as the series progresses.

Here’s everything you need to know about who will be entering the villa and what’s happening tonight.

Will the first episode of Love Island: All Stars be broadcast this evening?

The first show of the third series was scheduled to be broadcast this evening (Monday, January 12). This will no longer be the case after the production team were forced to be evacuated from the location site.

What have ITV said about the postponement of Love Island: All Stars?

In a statement, ITV said: “Further to a production evacuation owing to ongoing wildfires in the area, our assessment of the location site has concluded that filming will need to be postponed.

“Health and safety is our greatest priority and will always come first, and therefore the transmission of Love Island: All Stars will be delayed until a date to be confirmed.”

When will the third series of Love Island: All Stars now begin?

No replacement date has been confirmed, but next Monday, January 19. would appear to be the earliest the show could now start. All the cast members are in South Africa waiting for the all-clear.

What will be shown on ITV2 and ITVX instead of Love Island: All Stars?

While fans will not get to see the first episode of the new series, they will be able to get their Love Island fix with ITV2 and ITVX showing Love Island: Decade of Love, a special programme released last year to mark 10 years of the show.

It is a mix of famous clips from previous seasons, unseen audition tapes and interviews with some of the show’s most famous islanders.

It will start at 9pm and lasts for 95 minutes.
