It has been more than 15 years since the world was introduced to the Minions - a race of slapstick yellow creatures dedicated to serving master criminals - in 2010’s Despicable Me.
That film featured Steve Carell as Felonious Gru Sr, a supervillain in search of dastardly crimes, but it was quickly clear that his colourful henchmen were the real stars.
Since then there have been three further Despicable Me films plus three Minions spin-offs, most recently Minions & Monsters which hit cinemas this week.
Along the way it has become one of the most profitable franchaises in cinema history, earning over $12 billion at the box office.
Here are all the films in the series rated from best to worst according to ratings aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes.
