We are now just weeks away from Christopher Nolan's new movie Oppenheimer that is set to take the worldwide box office by storm.
The British director has carved out a reputation as one of the world's best at what he does and has climbed the ladder of Hollywood stardom thanks to the release of some of the world's most critically acclaimed films, such as Dunkirk, The Dark Knight and Memento.
But what are the best films he has ever made? With the help of highly respected film review site Rotten Tomatoes, we looked at Nolan's top 10 highest rated movies ever ahead of the release of Oppenheimer.

6. Inception - 87%
Admittedly one of his films that produces a ‘Marmite’ reaction, Inception has a stellar cast that is headed by Leonardo DiCaprio, Cillian Murphy and Elliot Page and throws the viewer into the world of Dom Cobb (DiCaprio) – a man who steals information by infiltrating the subconscious of his targets via the medium of dreams. 7. Batman Begins - 84%
The least popular of The Dark Knight trilogy but admittedly one of the most underrated. Batman Begins set to tone and feel for what was to come in the remarkable series of movies. | Getty Images

8. Quay - 83%
