Big Brother is back - with 16 contestants consenting to be locked away in a house filled with cameras for a few weeks.
The reality television show that defined the genre returned in 2023 for the first time in five years, moving to ITV2 - and the Big Brother house has now welcomed its latest residents for 2024.
First broadcast on Channel 4 in 2000 - when millions were glued to the antics of Nasty Nick, Craig Phillips and Anna Nolan - the prorgamme later moved to Channel 5 before being cancelled in 2018.
The first eviction has already seen 28-year-old marketing and event worker Ryan given his marching orders, with 15 people left in the house hoping to win the £100,000 prize.
Here's who the bookies think has the best - and worst - chance of becoming the latest entry in the Big Brother hall of fame

5. Thomas Atkinson - 10/1
20-year-old Thomas from Carlisle is 10/1 to emerge from the house victorious. The amputee footballer said: "I describe myself as a very energetic, always lively person - I hate silence! I feel like I’m very good at communicating with people. I’m a good people person and I know how to speak to different people whether they’re from a different background to me, different character - even if we have next to nothing in common." | ITV

6. Nathan King - 10/1
24-year-old Nathan, from Dumfries, is the only Scottish contestant this year. His odds are 10/1. The pork salesman said: "I’ll bring a lot of enthusiasm and fun. I will bring a lot of opinions. I like to have a spirited debate. I’m quite a strong character. If I think something’s wrong, I’ll call it out as being wrong - I’m not afraid to do that. I think most importantly I’ll bring a lot of fun. I’m going in to enjoy the experience and have a good time." | ITV

7. Martha Church - 14/1
26-year-old Martha, from Scarborough, is priced at 14/1 to land the reality television title this year. The NHS administrator said: "I remember watching it with my mum one year when I was about eight years old. I was fascinated by the idea. We used to watch it all the time and I remember thinking ‘I could do that’. I’ve always been a little in your face and a bit dramatic. I feel like I can’t believe I got this far." | ITV

8. Dean Smith - 18/1
35-year-old Dean from East London is a 10/1 shot. The barber said: "I’m going to bring good energy, good vibes, some fun, some love, some charismatic charm. I’m just going to be me and that’s the only thing I know how to do." | ITV
