Awards season is now well underway, with The Brutalist and Emilia Perez the big winners at the Golden Globes earlier this month.
All eyes are now on the BAFTA Film Awards next month, with the shortlists released early this week and the ceremony scheduled for Sunday, February 16.
It’s seen as a major indicator of who will triumph at the Oscars, the world’s most prestigious film awards, which will be held on Sunday, March 2.
Here how the bookies’ rate the 12 nominees chances of winning the Best Actor and Best Actress Oscar when they are presented at the London’s Royal Festival Hall.

5. Colman Domingo
An early favourite, Colman Domingo's odds for winning have dropped to 8/1 after bagging a nomination for 'Sing Sing'. 6. Sebastian Stan
It's been an amazing year for Marvel favourite Sebastian Stan. He won a Golden Globe for his performance in 'A Different Man', but BAFTA has nominated him for his role in 'The Apprentice', where he plays new (and old) American president Donald Trump. He's the 12/1 outsider. | AFP via Getty Images

7. Demi Moore
Moving to the actresses, BAFTA usually snubs genre films but, like 'The Silence of the Lambs' before it, 'The Substance' is looking like bucking that trend. Demi Moore is now the 10/11 favourite to win Best Actress for her role in the gory body horror. She's already bagged a Golden Globe and a SAG nomination, so it could just be her year. 8. Mikey Madison
Formerly the favourite, Mikey Madison has dropped down to 13/8 second favourite for her leading role in 'The Florida Project' director Sean Baker's new film, 'Anora'. She plays an exotic dancer who bcomes romantically involved with the son of a Russian oligarch, angering his powerful (and terrifying) parents. | Getty Images
