BAFTA Film Awards 2026 Nominations: Here are all the awards shortlists - including Scottish film I Swear and Peter Mullan

All eyes are now on the BAFTA Film Awards next month, with the the ceremony scheduled for Sunday, February 22.

It’s seen as a major indicator of who will triumph at the Oscars, the world’s most prestigious film awards, which will be held on Sunday, March 15.

The full shortlists were announced today, with One Battle After Another leading the nominations with 14 nods, closely followed by Sinners with 13.

Meanwhile, there was some Scottish success to celebrate with I Swear picking up five nominations including for Peter Mullan in the Best Supporting Actor category.

The film tells the true-life story of John Davidson, a Scottish man with severe Tourette's syndrome.
