It’s nearly time for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to take over the theatres, gyms, hotels, streets and pubs of Scotland’s Capital.
Taking place from August 7-31 (although there are previews in the days running up to the official launch), there are thousands of shows across hundreds of venues, from comedy and music, to theatre and spoken word.
In recent years podcasts have become a hugely popular form of entertainment, with the biggest attracting millions of listeners each week.
Now it’s become common for podcasters to take their shows on the road and record in front of a live studio audience, and there are no shortage in Edinburgh this August.
Here are 10 of the biggest for podcast fans to enjoy.

5. Before We Break Up Again
Relationship podcasts don't come much more honest and funny than that Jessie Cave and Alfie Brown's offering. Both equally-brilliant comedians, there seems to be little the couple won't share with their audience. Squirm in your seat at the Underbelly on Friday, August 7, at 9.05pm. | Contributed

6. Richard Herring: RHLSTP
Self-styled King of Edinburgh and Taskmaster favourite Richard Herring is back in Edinburgh with his (slightly inaccurately titled) Leicester Square Theatre Podcast (or RHLSTP as the cool kids call it). He'll be welcoming some of the biggest names at the Fringe on stage for a chat at The Stand from August 5-16. | Contributed

7. Keep It Tight
Also at The Stand are Irish comedy duo Deirdre O’Kane and Emma Doran with their hit podcast 'Keep It Tight', promising to "share their take on everything that’s delighted, bewildered or downright enraged them." There are two shows only on August 15 and 17 at 12.15pm. | Contributed

8. Matt Forde's Political Party
Aside from his own show ('Project Holy Moly' at the Pleasance Courtyard) Edinburgh favourite Matt Forde is recording episodes of his political podcast 'Political Party' at the McEwan Hall on Tuesday, August 18, at 5pm, and at the Gilden Balloon at the Museum on August 9, 15 and 20 at 3.15pm, 12.45pm and 3.15pm respectively. We don't know who will be joining him but expect household names aplenty. | Contributed
