Stobshiel provides the perfect backdrop for the day

A garden photography workshop is again being staged at Stobshiel Garden, Humbie, East Lothian, following the success of the inaugural event earlier this year.

Best friends and photography enthusiasts Delia Ridley-Thomas and Nicola Hailstone are staging the next We Capture the Garden workshop on Saturday 19 September, from 10am to 2pm.

Set within the stunning gardens of Stobshiel, the workshop offers photographers of all abilities the opportunity to explore the art of garden photography in an inspiring and relaxed setting.

Stobshiel provides the perfect backdrop for the day. With its beautiful planting, intimate spaces and abundance of photographic opportunities, the garden is a true paradise for both gardeners and photographers.

The workshop costs £65 per person. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, giving participants plenty of opportunities to relax, chat and share their photographic experiences.

Photography enthusiasts of all abilities are welcomed, whether using a full-frame camera, a compact camera or simply a mobile phone.

“We encourage all levels of photographic ability to join our workshops,” says Nicola. “Whether you are using a full-frame camera or a mobile phone, many of the key principles of photography — particularly composition and light — remain fundamental to both.”

With expert guidance, a beautiful garden to explore and a friendly, informal atmosphere, the workshop promises to be an enjoyable and inspiring day for anyone who loves gardens and photography.
