International road racing superstar Guy Martin launched into an astonishing rant as the Tyco BMW rider singled out the North West 200 course for a scathing attack on Thursday.
The 33-year-old Grimsby racer, who is one of the biggest names in motorsport, slammed the number of chicanes at the 8.9-mile coastal circuit – introduced over the years for safety reasons – and claimed the legendary meeting doesn’t count as a ‘proper road race’.
