Anti-vax campaigners described as ‘threat to us all’ after vaccination centre incident

Alliance Councillor Eóin Tennyson condemned the group of anti-vaccine protesters who gathered outside the South Lake Leisure Centre in Craigavon, where vaccines are being administered.
Campaigners are reported to have approached attendees of the clinic with anti-vaccine literature.

“They did so against public health regulations. The misinformation and conspiracy theories they spout are a threat to all of us, have no basis in fact and only undermine our collective effort in the fight against Covid-19.
“I welcome confirmation that a police investigation is now underway.”
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police have received a report in relation to an incident at a vaccination clinic in the Craigavon area on Sunday, 17 January and the matter is currently under investigation.”
