Man (31) arrested over Strabane murder attempt

Detectives from PSNI's Serious Crime Branch investigating Tuesday night's attempted murder of police officers in Strabane arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with the attack on Saturday.
Meanwhile, police have been granted additional time to question another man in connection with the attack. The 20-year-old male was arrested in Newtownstewart on Friday morning.
A device exploded while police were on patrol in the area of Townsend Street, Strabane, shortly after 8.30pm on March 21.
