Representatives from the Northern Ireland Executive, which was restored six weeks ago after a long-running boycott by the DUP over post-Brexit trading arrangements, have arrived in Washington DC for engagements with investors, community groups and politicians.

The first and deputy first ministers travelled to the United States ahead of the St Patrick's Day celebrations in Washington. Michelle O'Neill and Emma Little-Pengelly are due to take part in a series of trade and leadership events. They will then attend the annual St Patrick's ceremony at the White House.
