Northern Ireland retail park is hosting its hugely popular free doggy market this weekend

The Junction Retail and Leisure Park in Antrim is delighted to announce the return of the Barket Market this weekend for pups and their owners.

This follows on from the hugely successful the first ever doggy market which was held earlier this year.

Pampered pooches visiting The Junction’s ‘Barket Market’ this Sunday (June 9) can expect a paw-some day filled with tail-wagging delights.

There will be a wide range of local stalls offering the best for your furry friends, including gourmet pet treats, accessories, unique toys, grooming products, and expert pet care advice. And don’t forget the humans with handmade treats, arts, and crafts from your favourite award-winning stalls including Amber Catering & Cakes, Granny Shaws Fudge Factory, BlackFire Hot Sauces and more.

There will also be meet the rescue puppies of Cavaliers in Need Charity and the PSNI Dog Handling Unit will be in the mall.

Visitors will have an opportunity to meet the Guide Dogs at their exhibition and learn more about the vital role these amazing dogs play in enhancing the lives of those with visual impairments. Glen Craig Canine Training will be hosting live demonstrations of their dog agility courses throughout the day. Times are from 12.00-12.30, 13.15-13.45 and 14.30-15.00.

Experts will also be on hand to give valuable tips and advice on pet care, nutrition and training. Plus Dobbies’ Garden Centre has a fantastic dog friendly area in their café and restaurant, and there’s also the chance to take home a keepsake photo at the Doggy photo booth.

The event, which runs from 12pm to 5pm, will house over 40 traders including @Apparel By Unleashed, Electric Pup, Woofternoon Tea Company, Barking Style Boutique, @pooch__patisserie, Murphy & Bailey, Ted Shearing and many more!
